| The Motor Traders' Association of NSW is pleased to host both this website and the Automotive Women's Network which was initially formed in August 2000 as a result of a project undertaken with the Department for Women and the Department of Fair Trading. | |

The purpose of the network is to:

| The enthusiasm for this project so far has been overwhelming and since our inaugural meeting in 2000, and based on suggestions from our members, the newly formed Automotive Women's Network has been involved in planning some great projects. | |
| Perhaps the most important of these is the establishment of a member database. The Automotive Women's Network is open to all women working in the automotive industry and to those undertaking training to enter the industry. | |
| The Network is not gender exclusive, however, and we invite anyone interested in gender equity and committed to improving the image of the industry, to complete the "Member Profile". Your details will be included on our mailing lists so you are kept informed of activities. | |
